Montessori Childrens's House

About Montessori Children's House

Montessori Children’s House was established 1987. We provide a preschool educational experience for children between the ages of 15 months and six years.
At Montessori Children’s House, we are passionate about Montessori education and its transformative impact on young learners. Montessori education is a holistic approach that nurtures the development of the whole child – intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. Our school offers a range of programs tailored to the unique needs and developmental stages of children, including Toddler, Junior CASA, and Senior CASA.

Montessori Children’s House is part of the Canada Wide Early Learning Child Care system (CWELCC). Families with children aged six or under as of June 30, who are enrolled in our care, have experienced a reduction in fees of up to 25%, effective from April 1, 2022. By the end of December 2022, parents can anticipate a further reduction of 37%, resulting in a total reduction of 52.75% for the year 2023. The next fee reduction is scheduled for September 2024, with the final reduction aiming for an average daily rate of $10 by 2025/2026. In 2023, parents are responsible for covering 47.25% of our approved “base fees,” while CWELCC will cover the remainder. Any additional fees, such as late fees or costs for field trips/on-site visits, are classified as “non-base fees” and are not covered by CWELCC.
